ONE man was arrested and €250,000 worth of cannabis plants were seized during a garda raid at an active grow house at Cloney Athy over the past weekend.

Gardaí raided the premises at Lowtown Lane at 8.20am on Saturday last 5 January. Lamps and other cannabis growing paraphernalia were also seized during the raid. A Vietnamese national aged in his 50’s  was arrested  and appeared before the Monday 7 January sitting of Naas District Court.
