A FREE talk on orthoscopics will be held in Newbridge Library on Tuesday next 7 February at 6.30pm.
If your child is under achieving it may be due to perceptual problems which are caused by malfunctions in the eye/brain communication chain. Orthoscopics is an optical system that eliminates distortion and spherical aberration. It is estimated that 10% of all children/adults may suffer from this disorder. It involves an additional assessment in conjunction with your child’s optometric care which rates the way the visual system reacts to different types of stimulus. Orthoscopics has helped relieve symptoms related to dyslexia, dyspraxia, migraine and other neurological ailments.
