Brian Flanagan has named a 35 man squad that shows a huge turnover of players from his first year as manager heading into his second season.
No fewer that 16 players who were named in the 40-man squad for the Tailteann Cup Final last July are no longer with the squad.
The squad also features 12 players who hadn’t played a minute of National League football prior to the start of the 2026 season, although many have since got their first taste of action in the opening two rounds.
There are also 12 of the 35 who are either injured or recovering from injury and have their early season action severely curtailed.
Tailteann Cup winning captain Kevin Feely will again skipper the team, with Darragh Kirwan as vice-captain.
A development squad will be run alongside the senior squad and confirmation of that panel is expected to be announced on Friday evening.
