THE ladies of the Newbridge Women’s Shed hosted s high tea for their sorority group the Duncannon Dreamers and Doers from Wexford at the Town Hall last week (21 April).

"Relay For Life shows us the reality of the impact of cancer, and it’s a 24-hour event because cancer doesn’t sleep.” 

IT ALL began with a suggestion by a Deputy Head to re-visit the idea of a literary competition for primary school kids in south Kildare in the wake of the demise of the Cecil Day Lewis Bursary Award following Covid.

A HOST of Kildare community groups received deserved recognition as the 2025 SuperValu TidyTowns awards for the Midlands and East region were presented in the Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire recently.
