Athy youth club enjoys a scenic walk Beyond the Trees
The group of youths from Athy took in the sights at the peak of the long hike through and over the oaks and redwoods
’s Youth Club took advantage of the fine June weather to take a trip down to the Beyond the Trees treetop walk at Avondale in Co Wicklow.
The group took in the sights at the peak of the long hike through and over the oaks and redwoods, and later enjoyed a picnic in the great outdoors.
Further such trips to other naturalistic and idyllic sites are being planned for the future, and the club's policy has always been ‘the more the merrier’.
Aontas Ógra Youth Club meets every Friday beside the (A.R.C.H.) from 8.30-10.30pm. The first night is always free, so do pay them a visit and join in for future holidays and trips!
