Naas Courthouse
TWO young brothers who allegedly assaulted two individuals were sent forward last week (4 September) for trial in the Circuit Court.
Jack Brown (21), and his brother Ryan (20) from Coill Dhiarmada, Ard Na Laoi, Castledermot appeared in Naas District Court for formal receipt of their books of evidence from the State.
Jack Brown is charged with threatening to kill a named individual from the same estate, whilst both brothers are charged with the assault causing harm of both this man and his brother in the estate on 2 April.
Jack Brown is also charged on a later date for recklessly engaging in conduct which creates a substantial risk of death.
It is alleged that he mounted a footpath in the estate in his car to attempt to run over the principal injured party and again made threats on 8 April at the same location.
Both were sent forward to the next sittings of the Naas Circuit Court, sitting from 7 October.
