Vodafone Interprovincial Championship - Round 2

Leinster v Connacht

Energia Park, Donnybrook

Saturday, August 15, at 4.30pm

The Leinster team to take on Connacht in Round 2 of the Vodafone Interprovincial Championship will see PortDara Falcons hooker, Sarah Delaney, captain the blues for the second week in a row.

Delaney is one of ten Kildare players named by Head Coach, Sana Govender, with the game on tomorrow (Saturday, 15 August) at Energia Park. Kick-off is at 4.30pm, with live coverage on the Spórt TG4 YouTube channel.

Govender has made a number of changes to the team from last week's 39-19 defeat at the hands of Munster, with six new players in the starting XV, three of them from Kildare.

Emma Tilly, who came off the bench last week for her debut, will start on the wing, while loosehead prop Hannah Wilson and blindside flanker, Aoife Corcoran, are also promoted to the bench.

Corcoran is part of an all-Kildare back row, as Roisin Kinch and Erin King have been reinstated. Kate Jordan is out of the 23, but her second-row partner from last week, Ruth campbell, is reinstated at lock, with Kildare making up six of Leinster's eight forwards.

Eve Higgins continues at inside centre, while Emma Jane Wilson remains among the replacements, where she is joined by the uncapped Niamh Murphy, who will be hoping to get on for her provincial debut.
