Dooley named on Ireland squad for AFLW representative match
Kildare's Neasa Dooley has been named on the Ireland squad for August's AFLW representative match against Australia
Kildare’s Neasa Dooley has been named on the 25-player Irish squad for August's AFLW representative match against Australia in Sydney.
Dooley is currently preparing for her second professional season in Australia with the Brisbane Lions and easily met the qualifying criteria of playing an AFLW game.
The entire squad will take to the field during the game, with a structure of 16 on the park, and an extended interchange bench of nine (up from five in regular matches).
The squad contains a host of star names like Mayo’s Sarah Rowe and Dayna Finn, Meath’s Vikki Wall and Dublin’s Sinead Goldrick.
