Brian Flanagan has made two changes for Sunday’s season defining Leinster Championship semi-final against Louth. Ryan Burke replacing the injured Harry O’Neill, while Ryan Houlihan gets the nod ahead of Kevin Flynn at wing back. Mark Dempsey retains his place at full back having made his first start in the Leinster Championship quarter-final win over Westmeath.

As well as a place in the Leinster Final at stake on Sunday, a win would guarantee Kildare a place in the Sam Maguire Cup, lose and the Taileann Cup is Kildare’s lot for the second successive season. Among the subs, Maynooth’s Niall O’Sullivan, yet to make his senior debut, is called into a Championship matchday squad for the first time.
