Brian Flanagan has named the Kildare for Saturday’s Tailteann Cup quarter-final against Offaly at Cedral St Conelths Park.

It shows just one change from the team that started last day out against Sligo with Brian McLoughlin replacing the luckless Jimmy Hyland, who was forced off in the opening half of that game.

That means that Ben McCormack is passed to fit to play despite leaving the field with less than two minutes played and Brendan Gibbons retains his place alongside team captain Kevin Feely in the centre of the field.

Naas duo Darragh Kirwan and Paddy McDermott return to the matchday squad among the subs, as does Mick O’Grady but the likes the aforementioned Hyland, Callum Bolton, Ryan Houlihan and Cathal Hagney miss out.
