The funeral details for the victims of a two-vehicle crash in Co Louth at the weekend have been published.

Chloe McGee, 23, and Shay Duffy, 21, both from Carrickmacross in Co Monaghan; Alan McCluskey, 23, from Drumconrath in Co Meath; Dylan Commins, 23, from Ardee in Co Louth; and Chloe Hipson, 21, from Lanarkshire in Scotland, are believed to have been on their way to socialise in Dundalk when the Volkswagen Golf they were in collided with another car.

Another man travelling in the Golf, who was in his early 20s, was injured along with a man and woman from the other vehicle, who were taken for treatment to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

A death notice on RIP.ie said Mr McCluskey will be “greatly missed by his heartbroken family”.

It describes Ms McGee as his girlfriend and the three others as the couple’s “dear friends”.

His removal to St Peter and Paul’s Church, Drumconrath, is listed as taking place on Friday morning, followed by his funeral mass and burial in Drumconrath Cemetery.

In a page dedicated to Ms McGee on the site, her funeral arrangements were described as being shared with “a broken heart”.

It says her removal is due to take place on foot to St Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross, and she will be laid to rest afterwards in the family plot in St Joseph’s Cemetery in the town.

A tribute to Mr Duffy on rip.ie describes him as “forever loved and missed beyond words”.

The notice says his funeral cortege will proceed to St Patrick’s Church, Rockchapel, on Saturday before his funeral at 1pm.

He will be buried afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Mr Commins will be “sadly missed by his heartbroken family”, his funeral listing reads.

It says his removal will take place at 1.15pm on Friday to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee, with his funeral mass taking place at 2pm.

A page paying tribute to Ms Hipson says “she will be so missed” and lists “a gathering for family and friends” on Wednesday evening in Dundalk.

Her funeral details have not yet been published.
