Ian Harte Visits FBD Hotels and Resorts Park

Former Leeds United and Ireland left full back paid a flying visit to FBD Hotels and Resorts Park last Saturday. Harte made 288 appearances across nine seasons at Leeds United and was part of the team that reached the 2001 Champions League semi-finals. The Drogheda man also earned 63 caps and played at the 2002 World Cup for his country. After his time time at Leeds, Harte racked up a number of clubs such as Levante, Sunderland, Blackpool, Carlisle United , Reading and Bournemouth.

After retiring from football, Harte became a football agent and was involved in a big deal over the weekend when his client Jack Clarke moved to Premier League side Ipswich Town from Sunderland. 

Another of Harte's clients is Klub Kildare's underage international star Egor Vassenin.

Harte was very impressed with he set up in FBD Hotels and Resorts Park and gave great praise to the work that is being done by Klub Kildare in the League of Ireland.

Pat McNally, secretary of Klub Kildare said: 

"It was great to get a visit from somebody of Ian's calibre and nice to hear him being so complementary of the work we are doing here and the facilities that we have use of here in FBD Hotels and Resorts Park."
