Klub Kildare host first awards night at Killashee Hotel

Klub Kildare held their first Annual Presentation night at Killashee Hotel last week.

Joining the club celebrating a successful first season playing at FBD Resorts & Hotels Park were a string of dignitaries. FAI Board members Nixon Morton, Caroline Rattigan and Ursula Scully were in attendance, as was Senator Vincent Martin, who gave a stirring talk on what the club has achieved and could achieve into the future.

Shamrock Rovers manager Stephen Bradley and his assistant Glen Cronin, who both have children playing for Klub Kildare were in attendance just days before their decisive League of Ireland game of the season against Waterford.

Republic of Ireland Under 21 manager Jim Crawford was also there and made a number of presentations on the night.

In front of a packed room full of players and their parents, Klub Kildare Director of Football Jamie Smith gave a presentation detailing where the club would like to go in the coming years which was warmly received.
