Klub Kildare U17s come from two down to earn draw with Dublin giants

Klub Kildare came back from the brink to salvage a point in this entertaining Under 17 match played in FBD Hotels and Resorts Park on Sunday.
It looked all over for Klub Kildare raced into a two-nil lead with goals from Rafel Egbulefu and James Fitzpatrick.
Callum Donnelly pulled a goal back with Klub Kildare’s first goal on the stroke of half time and Sam Neville equalised with the goal of the game from a 25 yard blockbuster that the left Shaun Hall in the St Patricks goal stranded.
St Patricks Athletic were reduced to ten men shortly afterwards, both teams have chances in the last twenty minutes but neither side really tested one another’s keeper.
A shout out to a marvellous save from Killian Reilly when St Patricks Athletic were two goals in front, which proved so crucial in the end Afterwards, manager Jamie Broughall said:
“Killian was brilliant today and only for him Pats would have won, his save in the first half at 2-0 was spectacular.”
It's the third draw in four games for the Klub Kildare U17s since qualifying for the Elite Phase of the competition and they go in search of the their first win in that section away to Wexford next week.
