In the first of the games here at Cedral St Conleths Park, Rathangan underlined their credentials as serious title challengers with an impressive 1-24 to 0-10 win over Ellistown, Sallins are delivering as equally an impressive display as they lead Castldermot by 3-11 to 0-4 early in the second half, while in Clane, Milltown produced a stunning comeback against Straffan as they came from eights point down at half time to win 2-13 to 0-16.
While, earlier in the afternoon Athgarvan beat Robertstown in the Tom Cross Transport Junior Football Championship by 1-23 to 2-16
