A man, aged in his 30s, has been arrested by gardaí investigating five cars being set on fire in Dublin

Dublin Circuit Criminal Court heard that Kevin Kinsella (35) of Annesley Close, Ballybough, Dublin 3, pleaded guilty to one count of arson committed in the Summerhill area of Dublin on July 2nd, 2024.

An inquest into his death heard the severity of the injuries to the deceased meant he had to be identified by matching DNA samples taken from the body with those of his siblings in the Philippines.

No-one was inside the property at the time of the incident on Saturday.
