President Catherine Connolly led the well wishes to the Irish filmmakers named in this year’s Academy Awards shortlist.

The BAFTA-nominated comedy, commissioned by RTÉ in partnership with ITV, will be produced by Element Pictures, in association with Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland and ITV Studios

Culture Minister Catherine Martin said: ‘This Oscar success is no more than he deserves and I wish him every success in all his future films.’
