The latest Business Post Red C poll shows Connolly on 36 per cent, with Fine Gael's Heather Humphreys on 25 per cent

It puts the Taoiseach's party five points ahead of Fianna Fáil which is down one and Sinn Féin which has dropped by two with both parties on 18 per cent.

The poll was taken after the resounding no vote in the two referendums.
