KILKEA National School proudly celebrated Europe Day on 11 May this year as part of its participation in the Blue Star Programme by inviting the Austrian Ambassador Melitta Schubert – and their own local TD, Minister Martin Heydon.

Through its 2026 national schools programme, RISE aims to ensure that children in rural Ireland can fully benefit from digital connectivity and develop the skills needed to thrive in a modern, technology-driven world

PUPILS from Kilkea NS were given a top-class treat after their energetic sports day. The team from Kilkea Castle generously provided a BBQ to the kids.
