It was a fun and festive evening where the people Kare supports, their families and Kare staff had the chance to catch up, meet new people, celebrate achievements and enjoy time together.

The occasion – in association with the Department of Social Protection – was to celebrate this milestone of Kare’s sponsorship of Community Employment (CE) programmes.

The 'Cuppa for Kare' initiative aims to raise funds for Kare to expand and enhance the services it provides to children and adults with intellectual disabilities across its more than 40 locations.

Participants had the opportunity to take part in training such as manual handing, first aid, barista, healthy eating, personal development and IT skills
