Brian Crowley has lodged plans to demolish a property in Lahinch (pictured) to construct a new home more than double in size.

A wheelchair user, Brian was paralysed from the waist down when he fell off a building as a teenager.

The former Fianna Fáil MEP retired from politics in 2019.
