Led by a sulky, Mr Faulkner’s remains were brought to the church, rested in a gold coloured casket inside a glass carriage, driven by four white horses.

Faulkner’s funeral mass will take place at 11 am at St Munchin’s Church, Limerick, on Friday, exactly a week to the day his sister Scarlett’s funeral was held at the same church.
