In Northern Ireland, councillors are set to debate a proposal in November to change the name of Prince Andrew Way in the coastal Co Antrim town of Carrickfergus.

The man has been arrested on suspicion of making and possessing explosives under suspicious circumstances.

A statement from the Police Service of Northern Ireland said they had arrested a man and a woman in connection with the death.

He will appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.

No injuries have been reported to police officers

One vehicle was involved in the incident in the Annadale Embankment area of the city in the early hours of Sunday.
