Newbridge Town have qualified for the quarter-finals of the Sports Direct Womens FAI Cup
Newbridge Town are into the quarter-finals of the Sports Direct Women's FAI Cup after they came from behind to beat Whitehall Rangers 2-1 at Greenogue Park this evening in the club's first ever game in the competition.
They fell behind after 19 minutes but Abbie Stafford equalised just after the hour mark and then Rebecca Kavanagh scored what proved to be the winning goal 19 minutes from time.
It continues an amazing season for Brian Kaye's team and they will be dreaming of facing one of the best teams in the country in the quarter-finals.
