Applications to open tomorrow for Newbridge Cost Rental homes

Applications for new Cost Rental houses at Páirc Na Manach, Newbridge open at 9am tomorrow, Wednesday 11 September.
In the first phase, interested applicants will be able to register their interest for one of the 11 brand new, A-rated homes, comprised of four two-bed houses, five three-bed houses and two four-bed houses.
Rent for a two-bed house is €1,341 per month, a three-bed house is €1,490 and a four-bed house is €1,639. These rents represent a 25% discount on current market rents in the area.
In addition to the low cost to run these brand-new homes, new Cost Rental residents will also benefit from secure, life-long tenancies.
The second phase, of 14 apartments and duplexes, will open for applications later in the autumn.

The new Cost Rental homes were delivered by Clúid in partnership with Kildare Co Council, and with the support of the Department of Housing, Heritage and Local Government, The Housing Agency and the Housing Finance Agency.
They are part of the wider Páirc na Manach estate, developed by Montane, and are within walking distance of Newbridge town centre. The scheme benefits from good public transports links to avail of local services, along with access to the M7 for broader connection.
KCC Chief Executive Sonya Kavanagh said this new development “will provide the people of Kildare with high quality, long term, secure tenancy at an affordable rate. Kildare Co Council are committed to achieving our targets and objectives in delivering affordable housing for the county as set out in our Housing Delivery Action Plan.” Visitors to the Clúid website can also register to be notified about upcoming Cost Rental homes in their area, including the 14 apartments and duplexes at Páirc na Manach, expected as part of the next phase of the development later in the year.
Clúid manages 320 Cost Rental homes in Kildare, Dublin, Cork, Kilkenny, Meath and Laois and is expecting to deliver more than 300 Cost Rental homes in the coming months.
