Nissan Figaros head across the Irish countryside

FIGARO Owners Club members met in Ireland from 18 to 22 May, for the club’s 2026 International Rally and to celebrate the car’s 35th Birthday! After two years of planning, Dolly Webb, the club’s Ireland and Northern Ireland Community Chapter Coordinator, created a truly memorable experience in Co Kildare!

Members delighted in the beautiful views across the Irish countryside including the Wicklow Gap, and learnt about the history of Glendalough, Newbridge Silverware, the Irish National Stud Farm, the Japanese Gardens and Kilkenny Castle - where 44 cars took pride of place for the enjoyment of visitors to the castle.

Over the week, Figaro Owners Club members enjoyed an Irish Night at Newbridge Silverware, while their Gala Dinner and Charity Raffle at Clanard Court Hotel, raised over 1,000 Euro for Almas Worldwide - established in 2003 to support children and families affected by AIDS and poverty.

The beautiful vintage style cars raised many a wave from onlookers as they saw one after the other pass them by in convoy. While the weather wasn’t always the best, this didn’t stop Figaro owners spreading the joy that these little cars often bring, with many wanting to find out more about the cars, and how they could get their hands on one!

Figaro Owners Club were so grateful to Dolly for creating such a memorable experience, and for the warm welcome that was received.
