Kildare County Council is looking for commercial accommodation proprietors to make their facilities available to be included on the local authorities’ retained emergency accommodation list.

The council has issued a call for such businesses to express their interest in being placed on the list, adding that “family and single rooms may be required to meet emergency accommodation.”

The council said that submissions should include the location and type of accommodation, number of rooms to be included and prices. They should also include a confirmation of availability for check in times and whether catering and laundry facilities are available. The council also said that details of compliance with fire and building control regulations should be submitted.

The form for expressions of interest is available on the council’s website and the closing date for receipt of submissions is 4 pm on 30 April.
