Daniel O'Donnell is to host his famous tea party once again - after taking the kettle off the boil for 26 years!

Daniel and wife Majella are to host a special one-off tea party in aid of Relay for Life on July 28th at their stunning home in Meenbanad, Co Donegal.

The house was famously remodelled by celebrity architect Dermot Bannon.

Now fans can get a chance to see the house up close and personal when the generous couple host the cancer fundraiser.

Daniel wrote "Join me and Mrs O'D for a cup of tea at our house in Meenbanad in aid of Relay for Life."

Fans are already positively giddy at the thought of a return for Daniel's famous tea party.

Back in the 1990's, Daniel's tea parties attracted literally thousands of fans until they stopped in 2000.

Now the kettle is back on the boil, Daniel and Majella are set to raise some welcome funds for the Relay for Life charity.

Majella is already a patron of the Relay for Life charity, and hubby Daniel sings at the event most years.

Funds raised through the Boil The Kettle Appeal will support vital services provided by the Irish Cancer Society, including the free cancer support line, counselling services, night nursing care, transport to treatment, and cancer research and advocacy.
