AN Emergency meeting is being held in Castledermot on Tuesday next 29 July regarding the proposal to build a biomethane plant at Ballyvass on the outskirts of the village. The meeting is being held in Castledermot Community Centre Teach Diarmad and will commence at 8pm.

Cycle0 is expected to lodge a planning application to build an industrial Biomethane plant in Ballyvass in the not so distant future and according to concerned residents, this will affect all of the surrounding areas.

The organisers of the next week’s meeting say your attendance is essential on the night as each and every voice matters.
