Family disturbed by masked burglars in home on Saturday night

A family living near Myshall in county Carlow got the fright of their life when three masked men broke in through their front door on Saturday night, 15 November.
The door of their rural home in Straduff wasn’t locked and the men entered at around 7:45pm, disturbing the occupants.
The men were allegedly wearing all black and snoods covering their faces but did not carry weapons. They stole an unknown quantity of cash from the family.
The family did not see a vehicle coming or leaving the property, and no arrests have been made.
Gardaí are appealing for people who witnessed suspicious vehicles or activities in the area to come forward.
