Fines issued to Kildare parents for failing to secure children on school runs

Gardaí in Kildare issued a series of fines to parents on the school run for having unrestrained children in the car.
In a post on the An Garda Siochana Kildare Facebook page, it’s outlined that the three vehicles were detected with children in unrestrained rear seats in a photo taken by the Mercy Convent in Naas.
The penalty is three penalty points along with €120 for each child.
The post said: ‘No belt = no excuse. Belt up. Every trip. Every Child.’
