Fire claims Kildare woman's life

A WOMAN who died in a house fire in Nurney over the weekend has been named locally as Orla Wilson, a county council worker aged in her 50s.
Locals saying she was always helpful and chatty.
Gardaí and emergency services were called to the property on Saturday.
Ms Wilson was the sole occupant of the property, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Fire services extinguished the blaze, and her body has been removed to Naas Mortuary, where a post-mortem examination is expected to be carried out.
Gardaí say no foul play is suspected at this time, however no formal cause has yet been established at this time.
