Former Kildare sergeant called to the bar

After a stellar 30-year career in An Garda Siochana that came to a fitting end in the Newbridge Patrick’s Day Parade, former Sergeant Brian Jacob – a Portlaoise native living in Naas – recently qualified as a barrister, and is seen here in the Robing Room of the King’s Inn being fitted for his silks, before beginning his second career in the law on the South Dublin Circuit last week.
