Four changes on Kildare team

Brian Flanagan has made four changes to the team that started last day out against Tipperary for Sunday’s Tailteann Cup table topping clash against Sligo in the Hyde Park, Roscommon.
Mick O’Grady, who was replaced at half time during that win over Tipperary after picking up a knock, doesn’t make the matchday squad and his place at wing back is taken by James McGrath.
Team captain Kevin Feely returns to the starting line up and will partner Brendan Gibbons, who made his first start of 2025, in the centre of the pitch.
Elsewhere, Cian Burke takes over between the posts ahead of Didier Cordonnier while Harry O’Neill comes in for Ryan Burke at corner.
There’s no change to the starting six forwards so that means that Daniel Flynn, scorer of 2-4, will continue his partnership with Jimmy Hyland on the inside line.
Darragh Kirwan hasn’t recovered sufficiently from his injury to make the squad of 26, nor has Ryan Houlihan, but there’s better news on the injury front for Callum Bolton and Colm Dalton, neither of whom have featured since the Leinster semi-final defeat to Louth, as they named on a strong looking substitutes’ bench.
