Funeral details for Kildare couple tragically killed are announced

The late Grace Elliott and Brian Frisby, who died in a tragic car accident, will be laid to rest on Friday in their adopted Naas.

The funeral of married couple Brian Frisby and Grace Elliott will take place in their adopted Naas on this Friday morning, February 27, after they were both killed in a horrific road traffic collision on the Tramore road at Robin Hill on Saturday last.

Brian, who was a native of Newport’s Square in Waterford and Grace, who formerly lived in Lisduggan, Waterford, died when the car that they were travelling in collided with a van shortly before noon.

They had travelled from their home in Ashgrove Avenue, Naas to Waterford for the family funeral of one of Grace’s relations that was being held that day when the tragedy occurred. The devoted couple are survived by their two sons, Theo and Fionn, and they been comforted by family relatives at the family home.

Reposing at George Mullins Funerals, The Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas, Co. Kildare (W91 CD0K) on Thursday, February 26, from 5pm-7pm, Vigil prayers and Rosary will commence at 6.45pm.

The Requiem Mass for Brian and Grace will take place on arrival at the Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas, on Friday, February 27, at 10am, followed by burial in St. Corban’s Cemetery, Naas.

Brian is predeceased by his sister, Maria, and his grandparents, while Grace is predeceased by her nephew, Ciarán, and her grandparents.

Adored and loved by their sons, Theo and Fionn, they are cherished by their heartbroken parents, Seanie and Mary Elliott and Bernard and Mary Frisby.

Brian is also survived by his brothers Richard and Michael, sister Susan, brother-in-law Derek and John, sisters-in-law Debbie and Lorna, nephews and nieces Aoife, Emily, Niamh, Jack, Tadhg, Sean, Michael, Pauric, Amelie, Leila, Elle and Mila and grand-niece Annie.

Grace is also survived by her brother Stephen, sisters Denise and Laura, brother-in-law Gerry, sister-in-law Síle, nieces Sarah, Rebecca, Alannah, Romy, Jasmine and Sasha and grand-niece Averie. extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
