Improvement plans progressing for Kildare bridge

Kildare County Council has confirmed that progress is being made on proposed road safety measures at Victoria Bridge/Millrace, Caragh.
In response to a query from cllr Peggy O’Dwyer, the council stated that a consultant has been appointed to develop a preliminary design for improvements at the location.
The design process is currently ongoing, and a further update will be provided once the design has been received.
The proposed improvements aim to enhance safety for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists in the area.
Residents and local representatives have raised concerns about road safety at Victoria Bridge/Millrace, prompting the council to explore solutions.
