Kildare gardaí seize crack cocaine and heroin

Gardaí in Kildare seized drugs including heroin and crack cocaine valuing €6,000.
A joint operation between Newbridge Gardai, Kildare South Drugs Unit and Newbridge Community Policing was conducted on Friday in Newbridge, according to An Garda Siochana Kildare's Faceboook page.
Two houses were searched under warrant and a quantity of suspected heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis with a total street value of €6,000 was uncovered. A sum of cash was also seized. Two males were arrested and detained.
One male has since been charged with possession of controlled drugs and possession of controlled drugs for sale and supply. This individual will appear in court shortly.
