Kildare man wins €1 million from online lotto ticket

A KILDARE man was delighted to pop into Lottery Headquarters this week to collect his €1 million top prize which he won in the Daily Million 9pm draw on Sunday 15 March. The winning ticket was purchased online.
He said: “I got the email to say that I had won over €100 and the first thing I did was check the numbers for the draw. I saw there were two winners of €500 and one winner of the €1 million in that particular draw.
“I didn’t want to get carried away immediately, so I was telling myself that it was probably one of the €500 prizes. I logged into my account straight away and of course got the best surprise. I told my girlfriend and she couldn’t believe it!”
The lucky winner has already got a few ideas in mind of how to use the top prize win:
“I have always wanted to go to Japan so that’s on the list as well as a new car," he said.
