A KILDARE teenager was among a group of students invited to Seanad Éireann for the second Seanad na nÓg event, to discuss important topics concerning the youth of Ireland today for consideration in advance of Ireland’s EU Presidency.

Cathaoirleach and Leas-Chathaoirleach of Seanad Éireann Senator Mark Daly and Senator Maria Byrne, and Minister for Children, Disability and Equality Norma Foley, welcomed the second Seanad na nÓg event on Friday 14 November attened by Hannah Bermingham from Calverstown.

This event brought together 60 delegates from Comhairle na nÓg and other organisations.

The young people discussed matters such as climate action, education and youth, and equality, as well as many other topics.
