Kildare truck owner fined for parking illegally

A CASTLEDERMOT man was fined €250 in Carlow District Court recently after his Hilux truck was parked illegally, causing motorists to drive around it.
Larry Connors, 314 Maganey Road, Woodlands East, Castledermot was fined for parking illegally at Knockphuca, Castledermot on 25 April last.
Garda Derek Maher told the court that a Hilux truck was parked outside a house and that the motorists were forced to drive on the other side of the road to avoid it.
Solicitor Joe Farrell said that although Mr Connors was the registered owner, it was a work vehicle and that he wasn’t driving it at the time.
He was convicted and fined €250.
