Kildare U20 football and hurling squads announced

The Kildare U20 football and hurling squads have been released this week.
There are two players – Charlie Carroll (Eadestown/Naas) and Niall Cramer (Raheens/Éire Óg Corra Choill) – who feature on both squads.
The football squad named by Sean O’Dea features four players – James Harris, Killian Browne, captain and vice-captain respectively, Ryan Sinkey and Eoin Cully – who played on the 2023 All-Ireland winning team.
The squad, which also featured two senior players in Sinkey and Eoinn Lawlor, also features a number of players who have played in the ’22, ’23 and ’24 Leinster minor finals.
Kildare are in a group with Carlow, Laois and Wexford and play their first game away to Laois on Wednesday 26 March.

The hurling squad, managed by Adrian Kinsella, features no less than 15 players from the Naas club.
They are captained by Cian O’Reilly of Éire Óg/Corra Choill, with Celbridge’s Finnán Ó Dúlaing the vice-captain and they play their first game away to either Carlow or Kerry on the first Saturday in July.
