Kildare woman crowned Style Icon at Curragh

Equestrian and style enthusiast Katie Young, from The Curragh was announced as the 2026 Ashford Castle Style Icon as part of the Tattersalls Irish Guineas Weekend Photos: Damien Eagers 

Katie Young, from The Curragh was crowned Ashford Castle Style Icon at The Curragh Racecourse on Saturday. Equestrian and style enthusiast was today announced as the 2026 Ashford Castle Style Icon as part of the Tattersalls Irish Guineas Weekend, standing out for exceptional elegance, creativity and race‑day sophistication.

“Katie is elegance personified today. Effortless sophistication defined our winner,” said judges Marietta Doran, stylist and TV personality, and Lisa Toomey, Hotel Director of Quality at Ashford Castle.
