Katie Young, from The Curragh was crowned Ashford Castle Style Icon at The Curragh Racecourse on Saturday. Equestrian and style enthusiast was today announced as the 2026 Ashford Castle Style Icon as part of the Tattersalls Irish Guineas Weekend, standing out for exceptional elegance, creativity and raceâday sophistication.

“Katie is elegance personified today. Effortless sophistication defined our winner,” said judges Marietta Doran, stylist and TV personality, and Lisa Toomey, Hotel Director of Quality at Ashford Castle.

Katie wore a Self Portrait dress hired from LaBelle.ie, headpiece hired from Hats Amore, shoes from River Island, earrings from Grace & Favour and bag from Kate Spade. Katie takes home a two-night stay in Ireland's first and only Forbes Five Star Hotel & Spa, Ashford Castle.
