THREE Eurospar supermarkets in Kildare have been honoured with prestigious awards under the Eurospar Customer First Programme, celebrating their exceptional dedication to community-focused retailing and operational excellence.
Eurospar Barnhall and Kill—both operated by John Furey and Maurice Smyth—and Derek Walsh’s Eurospar Kilcullen were each recognised as “Best in Class” within the EUROSPAR network.
These awards are among the most respected accolades in Ireland’s grocery retail sector, highlighting outstanding commitment to customer service and local engagement.
The Customer First Programme sets the standard for excellence across the brand’s nationwide network. It evaluates stores based on rigorous criteria, including customer service, store presentation, and community involvement.
Commenting on the achievement, Peter Dwan, Eurospar Sales Director, said: “Meeting the high standards of the Customer First Programme demonstrates their leadership in the retail industry and their dedication to exceeding customer expectations. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to them on this well-deserved recognition.”
Retailers and store teams from across the country recently gathered at the Killashee Hotel in Naas for a special celebration of their achievements.
