Lorraine Woulfe to become the new Secretary of the Kildare County Board

Current Communications Officer of the Kildare County Board, Lorraine Woulfe (Naas), is set to be confirmed as the new Secretary at Convention on Monday 8 December at Cedral St Conleths Park after her opponents for the position this week withdrew from the race.

Earlier this week, Elaine Connolly (St Laurences) withdrew her name and today Noel McKenna (Ballyteague) followed suit, leaving Lorraine Woulfe with a free run at replacing Christine Murray, who is standing down after completing her five year term in the position.

Rory McGrath (Kildangan) and Sara Holden (Sarsfields) are the two left contesting the election to become the new Communications Officer.
