Man (40s) arrested after €140k of cannabis seized in Co Monaghan
A man has been arrested after €140,000 of cannabis was seized in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, on Wednesday.
This follows a search that was carried out by gardaí under a warrant.
A man in his 30s was arrested and detained at a Garda Station in Monaghan under Section 3 and 15 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1977/84.
He has since been charged.
He is due to appear at Cavan District Court on Friday morning.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
