Man arrested in connection to Naas assault

Gardaí in Naas have arrested a man in connection to a serious assault in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The man, aged in his 20s, was arrested this morning and is being detained at a garda station in the county.
The male (30s) injured during this incident remains in Beaumont Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Gardaí are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact them.
Any persons who were in the vicinity of North Main Street, Naas, Co. Kildare between 2.20 and 3am on Sunday 15 March 2026 and who may have video footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
