Man found seriously injured following assault in Kildare Town

A MAN remains in a “serious condition” after an assault in Kildare Town in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the assault, which found a man in his 20s unresponsive on McGee Terrace at around 3:15am on Sunday, October 26.
He was taken to Naas General Hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination as investigations continue.
Gardaí are urging anyone who may have information about the incident to come forward.
In particular, they are appealing to road users who were in the area between 2am and 4am and who may have video footage, including dash-cam recordings, to make this available to investigators.
