Kildare Camogie are in search of a new Senior manager after the decision of Mick Wall to step down from his position after opting against seeking a second term as boss.

In a statement, Kildare Camogie Chairperson John McGhee said: "Kildare Camogie Executive have confirmed the resignation of the team manager Mike Wall. We the Kildare Camogie executive would like to thank Mike and his backroom team for their commitment and work with this panel during the 2024 season.

Commenting on his decision, Mick Wall said:  “I have made the difficult decision not to take a second year in charge as Manager of Kildare Senior Camogie. The past 12 months have been an absolute pleasure and it is not a decision which I made lightly.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank the clubs of Kildare and the County Board who have been nothing but supportive and helpful since I took up the role, the extremely talented panel of players that I had the utmost pleasure of working with, my brilliant management team of Damien Donohue, Ger Walsh, Niall Herbert, Tanya Johnson, Donagh McInerney, Aoife Timmons, Sinead Wall, Eamon Butler and Mary Claire Ambrose for their dedication throughout the year. Finally I would like to wish everyone involved in Kildare Camogie the very best in the future.”
