A NEW 21-home residential development on Dublin Road, Monasterevin has been put before the council for approval.

Applicant Glengolden Builders Ltd lodged a planning application for the development, which would consist of 21 units across three separate buildings.

The proposed development includes a part two-storey, part three-storey block containing 12 apartments and duplex apartments. Eight of the units would have two bedrooms, while the remaining four would be three-bedroom homes.

A second three-storey block would accommodate six one-bedroom apartments.

The third building would comprise a terrace of three two-storey houses, each with three bedrooms.

If approved, the development would also provide 29 car parking spaces, including two accessible spaces, along with three bicycle parking areas capable of accommodating a total of 28 bikes. A decision on the application is due by 24 August.
