New NEXT store opens in Kildare

WHITEWATER Shopping Centre, Newbridge has just welcomed well-known clothing store, NEXT, in opening its doors yesterday. The shop is expected to be a popular addition to the centre.

The new outlet has reportedly created 26 new jobs and officially opened on Wednesday, May 13, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Occupying a 7,500 sq ft unit in Whitewater Shopping Centre, the new NEXT store stocks womenswear, menswear and kidswear collections, alongside home fragrance and beauty products.

The retailer will also offer click-and-collect services and free parcel returns for online purchases.

The opening comes following the departure of Zara from the centre and is seen as a positive development for retail activity in Newbridge.

While many beloved stores have left the centre in recent years, it’s great to see the opening of new retailers, such as the recent opening of luxury wellbeing and cosmetics brand Rituals which opened at Whitewater last month.
